Day18 – Equal Parts

Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:  And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

James 5:14‭-‬15 KJV

Your level of spirituality should be reflected in your interactions with physicality. For instance, if you are close to God, your being – specifically the body – Should not be comfortable with filth (mental or physical).

So too, in our relationship(s) with people, having that compassion towards people, better draws the picture of who our source is (God). Unless led otherwise, do not ignore people on the platter of “religious restrictions”.

So too, let there be unity in the church (not the denomination or the building but the people), and respect for ordinances. Today, I learnt about the serious and important role of elders as well as the prowess of “the prayer of faith” which would lead to the healing of the sick.

More importantly, when we do our parts, it is the LORD who heals and forgives (not man).

Therefore, all Glory to God.
