GOD’sBondMan: Eleven [Questioning Bondage]

BOND ELEVEN

What is bondage?

Bondage? Well…it’s more of a mindset than a physical state. Bondage – in its true nature – is more unseen than it is reported to be sin. Bondage is knowledge even if it appears to be the absence of it. It is…knowing the truth but not living by it; it is beholding truth face-to-face but telling THE LIE. Even a master, over slaves, can be in bondage of freedom. Mate, if freedom burns you up like fire burns wood in sacrifice, you are in bondage.

(laughs)

Bondage is also the inability to restrain freedom, even the freedom that leads to destruction. It is not just the lack of movement but the audacity to walk into death and not be able to stop even when you know that you would die. Conviction is bondage just as confliction and assumption or imitation.

Conviction?

Uhm hmm. Even, this bondage we speak of is the rejection of redemption. It is unbelief as well as believing in unbelief. Bondage is the aged bond…old enough to captivate a hold but strong enough to withhold its captives. Bondage is sometimes, the growth of repulsion. If you hate the truth, you are in bondage.

When does bondage begin?

When the spirit of the human is held, when the will is subjected, when faith is convinced and passion is let loose. For bondage to occur, the spirit must be set free to its own demise and whatever happens in the spiritual dictates what happens to the natural. If there is bondage in the natural, the spiritual accepted it or it was thrust forcefully upon the spirit.

Can the Spirit ever accept to be in Bondage?

Yes. Bondage is persuasive first and once given a place, it becomes oppressive. The human Will is only broken, first, by persuasion. “Reason” is the harbinger of force but there are times that Reason comes by force…treacherous times, I tell you.

Silence

Now where was I? Ahan! But Bondage also begins when memories arise, when thoughts which sing their own songs devoid of your decision are born. It begins when desires, which command you to obedience, are let in and given supper. Bondage begins when thinking begins. If thinking, by the presence of thoughts, is influenced towards the wrong bond then there must be bondage. To adequately orchestrate bondage is to tamper with the thinking process of the one who is now in bondage or would be prospectively speaking. Bondage begins with the invisible and if bondage is visible it is a done deal and has been established. The effects of bondage are not bondage in itself.

To be continued…

  1. Starts from thinking
No wonder the scriptures emphazied on the mind process
From thoughts, it becomes actions played in the head. If it is not stopped in the mind, then it is not long before whatever is the subject of bondage(thought) becomes a living thing….

    1. …and bondage is re-occuring. That is why we are asked to renew our minds because every contact of our thoughts comes with “a form of bondage”…to be in bondage is to be so in thoughts first…
