BOND 104: Wrestling

Copyrights have been ascribed to the photographers who own the images in this BOND.

A man wrestled with GOD to make a name.

It is not the same. If the goal of the man for ‘striving’ with GOD is to be reckoned as one who can fight GOD and live it leave at will, then the man can cleave to his broken thigh – knowing that the match was not and would never ever be a tie.

…the match…would never be a tie

A man wrestled with GOD for a name.

It is a miracle that humanity refutes the claim. That man can deliberate with GOD and discuss and in betwixt the discourse, there is a making of identity and course and purpose and nature and the character trail for life to be tailored through. This man – in moving hand-to-hand and face-to-face and thigh-to-thigh, deliberating with creator about the fate of creation in faith – receives that which gives meaning to being and it was made. Amen.

…there is a making of…course and purpose…for life to be tailored through.

A man wrestles with GOD to make a name for himself.

Selfish. The man who goes to GOD for himself and only to himself. To rattle the wit of GOD solely to be settled and once settled, then GOD can settle to be left alone and desolate in his thought and actions is the man who holds brace (position) against GOD when all he wishes for no longer switches to actualisation.

The man who goes to GOD for himself…only

A man wrestles with GOD to have a name.

To be defined, to have a calling, to be refined, to have a turning point, to behold repentance in all its glory and redemption in all spheres of living. To truly become as GOD has been chattering about. This man engaged GOD in a tussle to be called according to the purpose to have a name, a call, to be called by the Creator as the Creator calls the stars by name and numbers the strands of hair on his head without missing a count.

This man engaged GOD in a tussle to be called…

A man wrestled with GOD and got a name.

It was not a thing of shame to meet GOD face-to-face and put lust to the dust because to see GOD, by ordination, there must be love and affection for all good things which come from above.

there must be love and affection for all…
