Such words as “Religion”, “rites”, “ritual”, “revenge” to name a few. I feel these words – and more like them – are they which should not be comfortably descriptive of the Christian. They come with their unrefined notions and unwanted baggage. We blame GOD for being GOD – all powerful and not sharing, all knowing and not revealing. We blame GOD because we forget why we have done what we have done in the first place.
To Murder someone requires a measure of theft but to Murder self - not in sacrifice to GOD but total annihilation of the Will of GOD - requires a separation from the truth that GOD gives.
