The truth is the tongue represents our desires and our inner-makeup to life so if we cannot control our desires and the words which we live by, then we have not attained true liberation. If there is evil in the world today, even after salvation, it is by the work of the tongue. James calls it an "unruly evil".
If we don't say these things the way we should – the way that pleases GOD and exalts HIM above our intentions, we shall be judged. If we are not teachers when we should be, we shall be judged and if say we are teachers when – indeed – we should not be, we shall be judged for that which we were not made to defend seeing that we have abandoned our job for the protection of the interest of heaven upon the earth.
However, for the Christian who refuses to live in the constraint of mercy – not just to themselves, their neighbours or to the standard of GOD found in HIS Promises – there would be no mercy at judgement.
In what appears to be David's pre-burial ceremony (seeing that he had lived for all he wished to live for), there are enigmas to pick and epiphanies to plant in our hearts just as much. The first of many – from which I hope to address a few – is that GOD chose us
They are not satisfied with the Promise of GOD, the patience of HIS Word and the Reaffirmation of HIS undying love for all humanity even though we hurt HIM with our sins – purposefully or unintentionally. They want more but they want more for themselves. To them, heaven can wait; from them, depart.
The better hope and expectation is to live your life for the life of GOD; to be rewarded with that life that overcomes death like light which overpowers darkness.
If we deserve punishment in judgement, we can receive an entitlement of forgiveness by this commandment. Break the Wheel!
The only fear that would remain is the fear of GOD which propels you to do what is – beyond your means – perfect; both to the order of heaven and to the empathy of humanity”.
There is Mercy for the contrite heart which listens to the good conscience; for the man who listens to GOD; For the nation which obeys the law of GOD; for the family that lives by the love of GOD. THERE IS MERCY.
