In what appears to be David's pre-burial ceremony (seeing that he had lived for all he wished to live for), there are enigmas to pick and epiphanies to plant in our hearts just as much. The first of many – from which I hope to address a few – is that GOD chose us
We blame GOD for being GOD – all powerful and not sharing, all knowing and not revealing. We blame GOD because we forget why we have done what we have done in the first place.
In the faulty Understanding stage, there is always a lack of context or worse, the absence of (appropriate) content. In this stage, often times, the Christian doesn't necessarily have an answer of faith for a query of doubt. In some cases, this is so because said-Christian is secretly in doubt and innately in denial of the faith as well.
I must warn you, no one is exempted from this. The fact that you are aiming to be just Christ-like (Christian in practice and confession) doesn't mean you have not attempted the murder of GOD or partaken in a GOD-slaughter once or twice a day (at best).
To Murder someone requires a measure of theft but to Murder self - not in sacrifice to GOD but total annihilation of the Will of GOD - requires a separation from the truth that GOD gives.
