In being children of GOD, we must suffer reproach and loss as long as it is to uphold the gain of GOD's perfect Will. I counsel that we always give peace as an answer to violence. It serves as a lesson to us that our zeal must not be allowed to consume us; in all we do, we should put in mind that we carry a covenant of salvation and redemption as a blessing to the earth
JESUS ends with the purpose of salvation because that's where we should begin. If you ever want to know where to start in obedience to GOD, begin where JESUS ended on Earth. It was to leave fresh in our memories the most important things to deal with: preach salvation by GOD to everyone (Mark 16:15), all who believe, would denounce fellowship with the world and follow GOD and those who follow GOD would not be condemned to an eternity of nothingness (Mark 16:16), and there would be signs to validate the words of salvation so that those who couldn't believe at testimony would believe at the abundant feats which are extraordinary (Mark 16:17 & 18).
James, your words are not meagre. Their implications come with heavy deductions and this is why I fret reading them at times because the moment we know a thing, we are guilty if we don't act to stop said thing from prevailing against GOD-in-us and GOD-with us.
In the declaration, "men are scum", we have, in ourselves, an ellipsis of reality that we are all helpless and in need of saving; that daily, we groan with all creation, waiting to be annexed for the good that we were made to be. We say that there is more to all these that we find joy in and only if we could reach for that one thing. In saying we are scum, we are asking to be cleansed…
The Act of the Messiah is the action of faith to which we – as humans – would receive the power of the ALMIGHTY by hearing HIS Voice and obeying the order of creation.
Heck! Who would want a saviour who has no idea of what you should be saved from; who can take away the hurt, by helping, unless they know what the hurt is? The Man – JESUS knows!
The Messiah says that GOD's Love is manifested by calling all humans being – led astray by lust and pride – to repentance and reinstatement in the ideal of creation which is peace and undying life (John 3:16).
Weeping, Dying, dead. End of sin, finished evil, buried in wealthy man's tomb, resurrected, king: with an unending throne and reign; guide to the lost, light to the world, mercy for the broken, unforgotten, undefeated; not disputed; the last message to humanity from GOD: creator not created – GOD as GOD before humanity.
In the face of my error, I shall clothe my mind in the garments of repentance and not merely remorse because repentance works towards a restoration that remorse seeks to reinvent the pain on whose shoulders I should step on over the walls of my guilt.
